I can help you to rent an apartment in Rio. This will often be cheaper than staying at a hotel if if you intend to stay more than a week and if You share the apartment with others.

To give maximal security to my custumers I offer transfer from and to the airport, for a special rate.

In Rio it is difficult to find available accommodation with short notice for New Year and the carnival, please book well in advance. The next Carnival, 2011 is 4-8 of march. Try to come e few days before as the party starts already on friday evening and the first day here in Rio I am sure that You need some rest after Your long trip. Already the week- end before and also after the Carnival there are may streetcarnival trains. On the Sambodrom stadium there are a winnerparade with the 6 best placed teames for a lower price than during the oficial competition between the elite teames that is on sunday and monday during the Carnival.

General conditions:

Minimum rental time 7 days, in case of shorter period the rate will be a bit higher to compensate the cost for the final cleaning and laundry of linnen and towels.
Advance payment 30% of the total price and 50% for New Year and Carnival. The advance payment will not be refunded in case of cancellation.
Deposition fee 100 USD or 100 Euro per bedroom as will be returned at checkout time. Possible damages and missing equipment beyond "normal use", or bad condition, is deducted from the deposition fee. Possible claims that are larger than the deposition fee will be calculated separately.
Electricity, gas and one set of linen and 4 bath towels per bedroom is included in the rate. One set of linnen to the bed-sofa and 4 bath towels cost 15 USD or 10 Euro extra, as is the rate for one extra set of linen and 4 bath towels.
If You want cleaning during the period it is charged separately. Final cleaning and laundry is included, but You are expected to leave the apartment in the same condition as You receved it.
